Facebook at least can get a person in touch with (pseudo) relatives, and I was lucky enough to meet Brandon, of Larcenist (all the way from Boston) , who wanted to play a show here in Athens. Had them set up in my living room and play to some folks. Refreshing to meet such kind people! Hope to keep in touch with them and best of luck to Brandon who is having a little one this March.
